Cute Grape, Blueberry and Pear Peacock Snack. How-to from Jill Dubien at Canadian Family here.
(via journeythroughdarkness)
I just watched her recent question and answers video, in which she talks briefly about taking a break from tumblr, and how sometimes “life happens” and for whatever reason that means we need to take a break, and thats perfectly okay! Coming from one of my biggest inspiration proves that sometimes everyone has things going on in their personal lives that prevent them from maintaining routine or achieving their goals (eg. missing work-outs, cheating on a couple of meals, things like that)
It happens to everyone. I’ve received quite a few asks saying things like “Oh no I missed my workout yesterday and now I have to miss it again today, Im a failure!” or “I’ve been eating healthy the past couple of weeks but I’ve been binging and I’ve ruined all my hard work”
Sometimes, we just have to accept the fact that things can get in the way of our goals, but these are only minor obstacles and we have to pick ourselves up and move on. Forgive ourselves, and remember that “You haven’t failed until you have given up trying”.
So happy to have you back Becca!

Why: Squats work multiple muscle groups — the quadriceps, hamstrings, and gluteals — at the same time.
How to: Keep your feet shoulder-width apart and your back straight. Bend your knees and lower your rear as if you were sitting down in a chair, keeping your knees over your ankles.
I was taught to “keep my knees behind my toes” and gaah is that hard, I’ve been wondering if I’ve been doing it wrong, but it must be right..
